Rick was privileged to have studied with world renowned portrait artist, Lajos Markos of Houston, Texas and Dmitri Vale of Dallas, Texas.
Years ago, Rick and Andrea approached Warren Clark of Clark’s
Barbeque, Tioga, Texas. Warren gave his permission to hang an original pastel
portrait of Walt Garrison, of Dallas Cowboy fame, in his restaurant. Warren
then commissioned Rick to paint many portraits of area horsemen and women which
are showcased at Clark’s BBQ.
