Rick’s first mural order came from Clark’s Barbeque of Tioga,
Texas. The mural was 9 feet by 40 feet and was painted in oils over the course
of 6 weeks on site. The mural depicts the camp fire scene of a cattle drive
that features portraits of Clark’s friends sitting around the campfire. Texas
Highways Magazine featured Clark’s restaurant and highlighted Rick’s mural.
Later a relationship was forged with Texas Land and Cattle Steakhouse, a restaurant
chain headquartered in Dallas, Texas. For 7 years, Rick painted murals for Texas
Land and Cattle. He has completed numerous indoor and outdoor murals from simple
to elaborate. It was a fun family venture to complete these murals and install
them all over the Southwest.
These services (portraits, fine art, old home places, &
murals) are still available. To discuss a mural for your business or residence,
